I am trying to unsubscribe to JMRI Yahoo group and I keep getting refusals. They claim that the Email address I used to initiate the group is not the one I am currently using. I have had the same Email since I began. I even tried to join again but still no joy.
Any ideas will be gladly tried.
When you say ‘they’, do you mean the group admins or an automated unsubscribe page? If it’s the latter, I’d email the admins.

I’ve been using Yahoo Groups for a long time. To do anything with your memberships to Groups, you need to log onto Yahoo Groups using your Yahoo ID and password. You should see the groups you are subscribed to. Go to the group and open up the main page, there should be a link near the top that says “leave this group”.
If this doesn’t work, send a message to "owner-(with the name of the group here)@yahoo.com and ask them to delete your account.

Log in
Go to My Groups to see all the things you are joined to
Click on the JMRI group
Click on Edit Membership at the top
Click on Leave group at the bottom and follow instructions

Ii cannot log in to yahoo. The ID and/or password is not accepted. I tried to obtain a new ID but it still will not allow me to log in. ???
If you can’t access your Yahoo account there is not a lot anyone can do or suggest. There is a “I can’t access my account” link on the log in page. You will have to work it through the Yahoo system to get it resolved.
Yeah, I tried that too. I will try it again, perhaps with someone that can see better than I.

OK, now I am really getting irked at yahoo!!!
I went through the entire “change password” fiasco and it still says invalid password when I try to log in.
I will never join another yahoo group if I ever get out of this one!!!
