I tried it this past week on an Athearn SD45 and it worked quite nicely. I removed one number from the cab and one number on the number boards with very little disturbance of the base coat.

I also tried it on a Bowser hopper to no avail. To be fair, the the web site (Joe’s) does state that the product may work in a different manner on each manufacturer’s product due to different painting/printing processes.
