Cut out 1 or 2 ties.
Leave tie in and cut the progs off and a little more for the joiner.
Just stick the joiner in and have a small bump. With WS foam roadbed, this does not matter as much.
Most of us go with number 1.
Thanks for the reply arthill
is there any way to do it without having a small bumb
using cork roadbed with code 1oo track
thanks

Take the removed ties and remove some of the plastic where the rails go with a disk or file, slide the tie under the rail. the clearance will eliminate the bump, you can glue the tie if you want to.
thank i just figured that out but thanks
Tedd,
You’ve got the rail joiner thing down. When you layout for the next piece, and are ready to cut rails, adjust the cuts if nec. to allow for continous tie spacing. Doesn’t need to be perfect, but sometimes the joint can be off a half a tie spacing. This is true for pre soldered sections that you will need to bend for turns.
