Judge upholds plan to move “Dinky” station
I’ll bet the judge has never seen a train, let alone ridden on one. A&E is more important than getting to school or work. Loons abound!
Iowa State University used to run a steam “Dinky” between central campus and downtown Ames. You used to be able to follow sidewalks where the tracks used to be.
On a smaller scale, the discontinuance of the Princeton campus “dinky” station was an act of architectural vandalism when compared with the demise of Pennsylvania Station in NYC.
However, it was absurd, unnecessary, and, at bottom, a land grab. Greed mixed with stupidity are a lethal antidote to long-range planning for good. Trust me, I know the site from long experience.
academics care more about their grant money that they can suck up to then to made the DINKY ! as their forefathers at Princeton did when the PRR willingly built the station and wired the branch to it. the founders are wondering when the hidden graft in all IVY LEAGUE will be exposed. another piece of PRR history destroy by the pompous assed walking vinegar sacks at Princeton and NJT !

Although they are not the same. The destruction of the Princeton Station is the same as what happened to Penn. Station New York City.
