I happened to open my July MR which I got today. The article on Preserving model railroad history drew my attention.
I have quite a few pieces of rolling stock that came from a couple of collections. I have a Google Sheets sheet that I built to keep track of everything so I don’t duplicate cars that I don’t want to. I have a section for construction notes and details as to how I got it and, in the case of the collections, which collection it came from.
