Jumping into model railroading, have a question about old track

Hi,

I just recently picked up some old track from my grandfather. I believe that it is O and O27 gauge (most of it being 3 rail) and I was wondering if there was any older flexible track to go with this. Also, can anyone recommend any websites or magazines that would have more information about this specific track?
