June 1996 Model Railroading

Does anyone know a good place to find back orders of magazines? Im specifically looking for the June 96 Model Railroading, it has the third article in a series of three on handlaying N scale code 40 track and turnouts. Wouldnt you know it, the publisher doesnt have any more…bummer. Thanks for the help!!

I would check the book and video sections of any large hobby shop. The one I shop at in Houston, TX has a “used magazine” section. I don’t know if these are unsold back issues or trade-ins like at a comic book shop, but they have old issues of MRR, Railroad Model Craftsman, Trains, etc that are several years old, some as early as the 80’s. They are all in fairly good shape. Link on left (Find a Hobby Shop) might help. Even if you don’t live near one, you could call and see if they will sell/mail it to you?

You can back order old magazines from Kalmbach Publishing. Here is a link, I looked and they list June 1996 as one you can order.
