Figured I’d get it started and set the record straight above.
Enjoy June.

Well other than being a bit early at least you rememebred [(-D] Hope all have a good june
I will read all of last months posts.
One of my upper tooth broke off 2 weeks ago and I’m getting new dentures that clip onto implants. I have to wait 2 months or more to be sure the implants are alright. My old false teeth I use in the meantime but they are cracked and I’m greatly afraid they will break and then I can’t go anywhere as I look terrible without my dentures.
Today I got what was left of that broken tooth pulled, it came out easily thank goodness. And I’m getting my old cracked dentures fixed, cost $150 for dentures I will only use 2 or 3 months. I can use them as spares if my new dentures ever need to go to the lab.
They’re adding a tooth to my old dentures where the one that broke was so I wonder why I couldn’t just have done that in the 1st place instead of expensive new dentures but the implant secured ones are suppose to be much better.
I guess I found a way to keep the Chief on his toes…[:)]
Sun and 80s today with some storms expected in the early evening.

Aloha, Stormed during my walk to the train yesterday and again, this morning. It’s a long-enough stroll that no matter how I dress, I end up getting wet. Ah well. Sending the rain off to points east!
Good morning,
V8, I hope to die with all my original teeth even if they all have crowns.
Good morning all,
Quick post to make sure I am on the first page! I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
V8 Dennis, sorry you have so much to endure with the dental work. I feel your pain about toothless days when working on dentures. No fun! I’m trying to hang on to what I have left. Only about 10 original teeth left. All the rest are on dentures.

Sunny and 88 in beautiful south central PA. I am enjoying a few vacation days this week. When the week is over, I will have 3 days more to use before June 30. Spent some time outside getting rid of some poison ivy. That stuff is wicked. I carefully pulled some that were wrapped in a hosta that I want to save. The rest I sprayed.
Hoping to cut the lawn tonight after it cools off.
Take care,
Mitch
Good Evening from beautiful warm 89°F Southern Ohio,
Got in on the first page! Hard to believe it’s June. Going to be a busy month. Vacation, then into 4-H projects. Gotta get started on that chicken coop. Maybe this weekend.
Dennis – Sounds miserable. I’ve got all mine with only a few fillings. I have one that I chipped as a kid and has not degraded beyond being chipped.
May God bless
Jim
Oh BOY do I have dental stories! [+o(] And you know what’s strange about at least 99% of them? There’s ALWAYS some kinda dental blow up right after I decide it’s safe to expend some funds on trains! [:S] And the level of dental nonsense is directly proportional to the cost of the trains. I spent 400 dollars on a locomotive onece and a week later had an absess! [+o(] This time, a 20 dollar boxcar led to a stainless steel crown lifting and me biting a hole through the center of it without even realizing what was going on! [:S] Still waiting for the dentist to find out wether or not it’s covered since it was only installed last November.
Anyhoo. At least I have Medicaid these days rather than being broke all the time.

V8 Dennis I’m joining you on the 15 I have the rest pulled except 2 to hold the bottoms in and then like 6 weeks later they will measure me for my new dentures. I have a top plate presently but now I’m going to be getting a bottom partial.
Well sold some trains today on the bay. Thats always nice lol. Did a lot of running around today.
Need to get my loose engines out and see what I have and what Tender goes with them. I’am still going thru trains I have forgot about or just haven’t seen in who knows how long lol.
Anyway you all have a good evening and a fun thursday.
Good evening all !
Boy what a weekend ! Friday regular run day, Kid’s Club on Saturday, followed by lots of KP on Sunday and last but not least a Kid’s Club Fun Run on Monday. [zzz]. Tuesday was a bit of a rest other than doing my laundry.
My cardiologist wasn’t happy with the results from the med changes so he called this morning for me to come in today. Echocardio in the morning and angiogram next week. Stay tuned !
Banks, Prayers for your Mom.
Ray, Prayers going your way as well for the Mrs.
Chief, [angel] for the in-laws.
Eyes gettin kinda droopy, time to sign off.
Good evening all,
Good day at work. Good walk at noon. Had some rain on the way home and a traffic jam due to road construction, but I was not driving. Got our game in tonight, but I gave up 8 goals in a 11-0 loss. Maybe it is time to hang up the cleats… Will see how the rest of the season progresses. Should be quiet day at work tomorrow. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
Thur. 92 Fri. 98 1st hot day.
Tomorrow at 3 PM I get my dentures back that are out for repair. Thats going to be the happiest day of my life.
Been a long time since I had seen a post from you. Good to have you post.
Busy time for the next three days.
Been a while since I last posted. We were in Michigan last week - 2 day seminar, then two more days of vacation. Nice trip, but glad to get home.
The Scott Jophlin ragtime festival started today. But, being a working stiff, I have not had time to check it out. Probably will do that on Saturday.
There was a car show downtown a couple of weeks back. Bunch of interesting stuff was there - a '59 Ford hardtop convertable, a '62(?) Corvair station wagon, some sort of right hand drive Toyota sport coupe thing.
No train activity lately.
Good luck to youse guys out there with your dentist and doctor appointments.
About all for now.
Nobody home, I’ll have to tell the Chief there was more action with my heading than his oatmeal one…[:)] Sun and 85 today.

Good news bad news kind of morning.
Good news, Angiogram for next week has been canceled.
Bad news, It has been replaced with a cardiac catherization. Must be things going on in there that they want to see “up close and personal”.
We are short handed for the weekend, only one operator each day. Sunday will be the toughest to get additional help. All the different road closures for the “Rock-N-Roll Marathon” will be making it difficult for some people to get to the museum. Would hate to be a tourist who came in for the weekend and not be able to get around the city with all this falderol going on.
Time to get gussied up for my echocardiogram.
Later all.
dougnottagrump - It just so happens that I’ve got ab-so-lut-ly nothing going on this Sunday. Or the following day. Orrr the day after that. If you guys want to pull your resources and purchase me a round-tripper from BWI, I would be happy to help out in this difficult time. And with the Rock-n-Roll marithon going on, I could bring my ukulele along, making me a double-threat. And if things suddenly go wrong at the echocardiogram, I know how to use an AED, kinda making me a triple-threat…
It really is all about helping others. [8D]
