Just got a paper mache train tunnel/mountain and want to know what year it was created.

I just got a paper mache train mountain/tunnel and was wondering if it was mass produced in the 1930s and what train set it might have been made for? If anyone knows the history of the piece or a website to look it up that would be great. Thanks. Below are the links to the mountain/tunnel images.

You might have more luck over in the Classic Toy Trains forum - this looks more like their area. Many manufacturers offered ready-made tunnels of one form or another though so pinning down the precise brand may be tricky. Good luck!

Posting the dimensions might get some memories clicking, IF it was commercially produced… You might try asking on the Classic Trains forum…

Thanks for the tip Matt and Jeff. I’ll move the question over to Classic Toy Trains forum.
(Dimensions are 10" wide by 13 1/2" long and 8" tall. The tunnel entrance is
2 1/2" wide and 3 1/2" tall.)

The tunnel entrance suggests HO scale (or Brittish 00)… I know lifelike made styrofoam tunnels with about the same dimensions (may still) and they’ve been around for a long time… Possibly them I guess but I still don’t know for sure…
