i was about 1 1/2 or 2 when my parents (or santa) at that time, bought me an HO set redy to go with a loco and some cars and a bunch of snap track for xmas and i have been hooked on it ever cince im 15 now and im building an HO 4x8 western themed layout with a 4x4 square off the back side in the corner to make an L shape and will have atleast 40 FT of track probably more
Why not use Lionel’s Thomas & Friends line.
I have had trains since I was 2 or 3, but a hardcore railfan from day 1–YEE HAW!!!
I have also gotten my 3 year old counsin into trains, but he like real, Thomas, and Polor Express, and has PE and Thomas trains(just toys)
That sounds like a good idea. I have kids aged 3 and 5. They love trains, but have been pretty hard on some of my HO models. I believe O or G (LGB is really sturdy) are probably best.
