Just to show what I have been playing with

I feel funny posting here beause I am not a model railroad guy still. Still want to be. But you guys have all the neat displays! I want to learn from you. I took a piece of plywood and made this so far…

Need to add the electric wires and build the fence around the corn field but I have been working on it. The pond and the plowed cornfield took up a lot of room, and I want to add more foilage to the abandoned track. Does anyone make a 1/64 hand car? Would love to have a weathered one sitting on the tracks! Its a junk yard and screams for it. I have a way to go… this may never be “finished”. Having a lot of fun with it though! Thanks for all of the knowlege I have gotten from this site. It really helps me in my diecast wannabe world.

Hi Bob, You have made a wonderful display point to point layout. Do you have the room to expand it ? 1/64 is O gauge. Why don’t you model in HO, N, or Z scale ? I see that you have quite a collection of vehicles on the shelves below. Bob Hahn

Actually, 1:64 is “S” guage. HO is 1:87 which is by far the most popular.
