Havent been around the board much because i have been pretty busy with work and other things, but i wanted to stop by and say thanks for all the help i received here with various questions ive had about locos and TMCC.
Thanks to the help ive recieved from Cheif and many of you other guys on the board, Last weekend i finaly took the dive a bought a TMCC diesel at a train show over the holiday weekend!!!
Its a Lionel Great Northern U-33 C Diesel. My Fiancee actualy spotted it at the show, and i liked it as well. Im pretty happy with the loco, allthough i have yet to run it.
And yesterday i made my order for a Lionel TMCC comand base, cab1, and direct lock-on, which i never would have done without the help of this forum. ( When i first head of TMCC i thought it would cost a fortune and be very hard to operate)
So, the TMCC stuff should be here next week, allthough i think im gonna have my girl wrap it up and make me wait till XMas… haha, yes im still a kid inside, and i too want something to play with Christmas morning!!!
Once again, thanks to all here… I never would have made this step without the help of you all!!!
