I didn’t think you could afford anything on eBay that I really wanted. The worry of getting a bad engine that cost a lot always bothered me. Turns out I was wrong as I just won my first eBay Train auction on an LL B&O 0-4-0T. This completes my dockside scene I’m planning. yeah

Good for you DG. Most of my collection has come from ebay. Just be careful to always only buy from sellers with a long, good feedback history and you should be okay.

Sometimes you can get great deals on those little Docksides. I was watching 2 of them a few days ago go for almost $70.00. Now they were the ones with all the valve gear and have never been taken out of the box. i have also got them for $10.00 each.

Yeah, I recently had my first big eBay win, which was an N scale Bachmann Plus DD40AX, custom painted for PRR.[:D] I’m hooked now, I’m always checking out eBay for stuff…Try to hold back.[;)]

Keep an eye on ebay theres lots of good deals there, the problem is that it’s really addictive. I imagine I made near 50 in the last two months!! Sure I have a small problem. But it’s a lot of fun buying there. BID TO WIN !!! Joey
