ok, I got my K-27! (painted unlettered / black / plow). Now, I am going to switch over to a road pilot instead of a snow plow…well, because there is no snow here in CA. I looked under the engine, but could not find the screws to remove the plow. No instructions for that… and I found nothing on google.
Just throw a bit of rust on it and it will eventually fall off. (Sorry, just being my obnoxious self, especially since I am in envy of not having one myself.)
Also, not sure if I should make a new thread for this… but…
The description says the loco has a operating Johnson bar… how do I operate it? I tried moving it manually, even pushing on the lever in the cab, but it didnt move. Is this a DCC only feature?
Try pulling up slightly then moving it forward or back. If they’re using the same construction they use in other locos, it’s got little notches in it to keep it in position (like the prototype).
What you gonna do with a snow plow? Don’t think it will do any good pushing the green junk out of your “pond”. Dude, you live in Texass! On the rare occasion if it does snow in your neck of the woods it’s gonna melt before you could get outside to push it anywhere.
Really need to cut back, Texass is spelled Texas or Tejas but I understand you would not have known because of the tick. As for snow you should have checked…
Well, I dont have a road pilot yet, so until I can get hold of one I need to have something. When I do get one, I will send you a message. Unless you have a road pilot you want to trade… if so, please send me a message. I would be happy to swap pilots with you.
Ok, well, this forum has an old expired email address of mine, so the email will not get through. Send me a PM, or I can email you. Whichever you prefer.
