I was just wondering if anyone is interested in a DVD on the K-4 restoration’s innaugural run in Altoona, Pa. April 12, 1987. It went from Altoona PA to Bellefont, PA.
This is NOT an advertisement. It is a real VHS recording by my grandfather that was left with my father. He then put it on DVD. This video is as close to being on one as you can get and more realistic than seeing it on TV. My grandfather was advising in part due to his 35 years as a pipe-fitter for PRR.
I’m not out to make money on this. It really is cool to see a steamer that hasn’t run in forever come to life. Lots of good video of smoke/steam pouring out.

I only ask for a few bucks to cover the cost of the DVD and shipping. Not sure what that would be. Probabally @ $6-7 total.
Let me know. The video is shot at the Juniata shops and then from the back of another train with the K-4 following close behind. I didn’t time it but i’d say between 1/2 hr to an hour or so.
