K-Line Berkshire problem.

I have a K-line Bershire that came out a few years ago. It has TMCC Cruise controll and all the goodies.
The problem I am having is that I cannot get it to run any faster then about mid range speed. I don’t have instructions on how to reprogram it. Does anyone no the sequence for this and is there anything else I should do to correct this problem?

How are you running? TMCC remote, TMCC w/ the DCS remote, ect?

Have you tried a factory reset? Instructions are in the manual.

Loco reset: “ENG#”- “AUX 1”- “0”

It sounds like you have it programed with a maximum speed. The easiest way to clear this out is to first hit set, run the engine(with no load) to the fastest speed it can safely run, and then hit boost. The horn will blow, and it will stop, with a new maximum speed programed.

Hi, this is off the subject but be careful with cowcatchers on your k-line Berkshires they are just soldered on and only on the underside. They will not withstand hard bumps against a track bumper.
