Kansas City Southern steam engine goes to museum
The locomotive in Port Arthur is painted incorrectly, it is actually a Louisiana and Arkansas engine and was never painted KCS while in service. The 1023 in Pittsburg is the only true KCS steam engine. All others came from the L&A and were lettered as such until retired.
