For those who have been waiting for Kato to annonuce a new or existing run of HO scale locomotives, They have just announced a re-release of the AC4400CW and SD80-90Mac - the AC4400CW in 1 of each road # - UP 5780, BNSF 5622 and CP 9608.
The SD80/90 will be offered in Indiana Railroad, UP and CP road numbers(not released) .
I’m glad to see that what I was told by trhe Kato Rep in December of last year at Oklahoma City is finally coming to fruition- finally.
Supposedly, there is another HO locomotive coming- we’ll see if that materializes but my hopes have exponentially increased with this announcement.
Kato appears to be moving forward very cautiously but I’m glad to see they have finally remembered the HO market -I’m in.
All… I may have mis-read the Kato announcement as reading the SD90/43 Mac listings as HO - the Photo of the new SD90/43 announcement following the AC440CW announcement, does not indicate HO or N scale, and may be only a new N scale offering- my appologies for the error.

Great, there is another loco I’ll have to add to my want list. I wonder why only 1 number announced for each of the AC4400CW’s. The Canadian Pacific ones would sell great. I would buy 1 of each number they produce.
LOLOL, OK. [B] Gord, you got to get one of these. I got the 4 from the first run, you might have seen them at one of the shows pulling grain cars. They are great looking and running loco’s although adding some of the detail was a pain in the butt.
