Kato HO scale Burlington Northern SD-40
This picture is incorrect for this engine. This engine is a first run and it doesn’t have a white cab front or a BN logo on the front.
Although it is an “orginal” run SD40 from Kato, I purchased one fo the puppies back in the 90s when first released. It was, and still is, an outstanding, smooth running, nicely detailed unit. I run it at our club’s annual open house, and it performs without a hitch. Kato set a high mark when this unit was released in HO and I am very pleased with this unit.
I have not got it but seeing the history of Kato and how good quality there locomotives are I will not be suprised it it runs super well
