Kato N scale EMD SD9043MAC diesel locomotive
I have been interested in this loco since it’s release, but the long chassis had me worried about how it would navigate tighter curves on my N scale layout.

outstanding locomotive. this is a hit on any layout. i watch them as they come through the CN IC tracks here in fulton ky. the UP and the BNSF comes through from time to time also. i work for the city so i cross the main lines all throughout the day. the locomotive paint shop is in mayfield ky where i graduated high school. KATO think about some IC, ICG and IC green diamond division locos on the scene soon. again outstanding job.
Just got one of these loco’s in cp and it runs great. It will negotiate small radius curves better than the kato sd70ace. Kato you did it again. I hope to buy another in the future…
I have the CSX SD80 version. You can pick them up for $59.99 in some places. An absolute steal for this model. Kato rocks. I just wish they pay better attention to the paint. A backwards lightning bolt in my csx ES44 has no excuse. Still great though.
