Kato N scale Metra train set
Great review. I have been waiting for this product for a very long time. Now I finally have a commuter train to compliment my modern era layout.
When I first saw the prototypes I just had to have it. Once I recieved it I couldn’t believe the detail. With the metal wheels on the cars it runs so smooth. The lighting effects are the best I have ever seen on any locomotive and its not even DCC. I do not see these lasting long. If you are on the fence… buy now thank me later.
I recently purchased this set and I am very pleased with it. Like the reviewer I am most impressed with the lights on the locomotive and the cab car (e.g. two sets of lights at the front, one for forward running and another when the cab car is leading). The paint job on the locomotive is excellent.
Excellent models - let’s hope that Kato keep them on the market long enough for our pockets to purchase more, and longer, trains.
This train is simply amazing. Kato hit it out of the ballpark with this one.
Can an HO scale version be far behind??
This set got me sucked back into Model Railroading. I have dropped a ton of cash in the last two months and have nearly completed the bench work so I can see this beauty run longer than two feet . Thanks Kato !!
