Well I have just purchased my first Kato , and it was an SD38-2. I love how it runs. I have only Athearn BB locomotives, and I saved a long time for this one.
Putting the details on was similar to my athearn’s, I hope to build a fleet of better locomotives.

What other Models is Kato going to do next?
Kato makes a SD70M in N scale. Hopefully they will come out with it in HO next, so there will be models of this loco. worth buying!!

Most definetly, can’t wait to see the F40PH…should look great with their passenger cars…So who’s gonna take the plunge and buy a SD38-2, detail it to unwashed SP colors and then post pics here?!? I’m sure I’m not the only one with the idea…[;)]

I hope Kato re-releases their SD40 and SD45. I would like to model these in SP.
I also would like to see the SD38-2 released in SP.
