Kato sd40-2 mid production HO scale

Which of the ho scale kato sd40-2 mid locos have the fuel tank milled for sound? (Model numbers ?) It appears that not all of them are.

The only ones that I can confirm at this time are the current run release ones (as evidenced by Cody’s office video). Next time I visit my LHS, I’ll ask to take a look at one of his new-old stock mid production SD40-2s (I’m pretty sure he still has them).

I have the current one, and yes it is milled out, and has a baffle.

The second most recent run was also milled out.
