What voltage do KATO N guage turnouts require? 12v? 18v? AC? DC? Will the fixed voltage terminals on my old (60’s era) HO power pack work with these or will I have to buy yet another power supply? Building the Carolina Central set in the 4 corners area and called the Little Sandy. Thanks
Found the answer. 12V DC and yes my older power packs will work. Thanks to all that looked.
Actually 12v - 24v DC or AC with momentary contacts will work. Question is do you have enough amps to throw more than one turnout?
Look on your ‘VA’ or ‘WATTS’ UL rating & divide by 12.
