Kato Unitrack

Planning new HO modules. Thinking of using Kato Unitrack throughout, mainly for speed.

Have never used. Any basic info on ease, reliability, etc. would be appreciated.

I just started and used unitrack for 90% of my layout. Works well, goes down fast and easy to work with. There are a couple of threads on the subject that had lots of imput in the last couple of months.

I have a set of straight sections on the workbench, they do a good job.

I think that the switches prove to be a challenge when looking for DCC use. I have not yet learned just how Kato switches hold up in a DCC environment.

They are expensive, but they are quality and should last a long time.
