That high price is probably from the dual coreless motors. Each of those is likely 3x more expensive than the classic HM-5, and with the new gearing and all, you’re looking at a $175 chassis with a $20 shell. I am disappointed that they would do so much molded-on detail though. It looks like an accurate shell and all, but even the Athearn model from the 90’s had some finer details.
