Katrina: Railroads done in by it

I know the tiny Pearl River Valley Railroad in southwestern mississippi was done in by hurricane karina but was there any other shortlines in the south that were basically killed by katrina? is there any hope for the PRV or will it be turned into a bike bath as will be for the Mississippi & Skuna Valley?

So far, Tropical Storm Isaac is predicted to make final landfall somewhere in the Florida panhandle at hurricane strength, probably around Cat 2. Beyond coastal flooding and related damage, I don’t think that the damage will be that severe.

I am sitting here as we speak in Pass Christian, Ms. Issac just hit land in La. at the mouth of the Miss. River as a cat 1 with winds about 80. Here, mostly just strong wind gusts with an occasional rain burst.
