A KCS SD70MAC has been sighted with the “Belle” paint scheme. I think #3913 is the first SD70MAC that’s been repainted into Belle colors.
She sure looks good in that paint scheme…I wish BNSF would do something (like maybe wash!) their SD70MAC units…I love those brutes and the way they sound at “run8” hauling a heavy coal drag up the grade out of Aurora and through Eola on thier way east.
Glad to see KCS keeps tradition alive. Growing up in Reading, I’ll never forget my first sight of the GP30’s on the Lebanon Valley Branch at Hershey. They electrified us RDG fans and I expect more than a few employees on an otherwise declining road.
