what happened to the kcs E and F units
All the original locomotives were sold off long ago. The units purchased from VIA Rail in Canada for use on the Executive Train are kept at Shreveport, LA. Two of the Executive F-units were in Dallas about a week ago with some of the Office Cars.
Four of the E units (3 E8A’s and 1 E9A) were sold around 1970 to C&NW for suburban service. I don’t think that they were transferred to Metra.
