Ken Lua’s Marx Mystery Train

Sweet! Great train plus it reminds me of the old drive-in theater in the town where I grew up…it was next to the tracks!

Great. Fun to watch. Your locomotive looks like an engine from a child’s story book - very determined. Perfect song also.

What a great, fun video – classic train and classic cut by Elvis and his two sideman. (I wanna say they were called the Tennessee Two but that might have been Johnny Cash.) As a matter of fact I think the clip at the drive in movie was a TV performance featuring those two guys. I think Scotty was the name of the guitar player. Nice touch all the way around, including the 16 coaches and the train set looked in mint condition. Layout looked good too. Thanks for sharing your video with us, a real treat.

Very well done video. I really enjoyed the live action. Thanks.

Great train set and Elvis song video clip…

Video and Marx trains bring back my childhood in the 1940s. Thanks for Sharing

Great trains and great music! Love Gershwin !

Darn, my first tinplate trainsw ere Marx, but they sure were not all that fancy, I inheritated them from a cousin when his family went Lionel. I also inherited the Lionel when they found HO gauge, scratch building, and all the joys of HO. Their basement was full of HO, but darn if the family next door didn’t have a basement full of O gauge Scale (and a pretty daughter) Commets with held at writers request LOL (guess whose basement got the most of y attention when my mother’s family got togwher?. Ah memories, and WOW, have you seen the RMT stuff fro Aristocraft? Wanted the Lionel GG1 as a kid, Now got one sitting o my desk. even though"G" is primary love (never did hear what happened to the girl). Looking about for 032, O72, and a tinplate transformer with a horn button. Got to get that GG1 running aroud my great room! Got a feeling the great room is going to fill up with modern day tinplate! Know the yard is gonna fill with “G”. Only a 77 year old kid could get so much fun out of trains!

Great presentation of the layout. The layout and the selected video ‘shots’ seemed to be just made for each other when supported by the slick music as the train showed-off its power. Thanks Ken and CTT for sharing!!

Thoroughly enjoyable video to watch. Great job!!!

Nice production. Simple, good editing and entertaining. Oh yeah, nice trains too!

Great layout! Very simple and wonderful to watch!

I’m sure Elvis would have enjoyed what you did with this video.I certainly did.

Great Marx I loved that very long passenger train who would know that Marx locos could pull that much. good video

Very nice video. You managed to make your relatively simple track plan quite interesting and entertaining. Thanks.

Wow is that running fast… Cars look great and shinny. Nice Job.

The only thing I own that is Marx is a beat up old transformer. Once broken and in rather sad shape. I fixed it and it and got it working. Next time I’m at a train show I think I’ll checkout the Marx stuff a little more closer. All because of you video. They may not be Lionel but it sure was great watching the run.
Thanks

Loved it. Nice job + the fact the wife & I are Elvis & 3 rail fans. Great ending!
