I was at the local train museum this weekend and thought I’d share a little with all of you. I won’t subject you to all the pics, but just give you some highlights. If you want to see them all click on my photobucket account in my sinature and go to the folder labeled “Prototype Photos”.
Here’s an 1890’s Florida East Coast private car;

An old U.S. Navy car that’s been converted to a shed;

A NKP Business Car;

A GP7 prime mover;

A C&O wooden caboose;

The newest switcher to the yard;

NKP No.426, a GP9;

And again;

GP7 No.200 with 200 passengers in tow heading out of the yard;

Wanna go for a bike ride?

It was a good day to be out in the yard as you can see. Lots of switching going on and nice weather to boot.
So,…what proto-photo’s did you get this weekend? Lets see them! Post them here and we’ll all get to kill the Monday blahs together. [8D]
Neat pics. I saw no real trains, just planted a dead forest and picked up the train room. I will enjoy your pics as you post them.
Nobody saw any trains this weekend?!? [:O]
I was busy this weekend building and superdetailing a GN GE U25B. Paint
is next. Then on Sunday night, I found the hot water tank leaking. . . . . . [censored][banghead][:O]
Great photos, though.
I was out Friday night/Saturday morning watching the last trains get orders from PD tower on Long Island. It was the last place in the country where trains received orders on the fly on the eastbound trip. It also ended up being the first photography of trains I’ve done at night.

ElectricMotive,
Now that’s way cool!
Rick,
OUCH!
Alright, I won’t pick on you any more, you’re excused!
Thanks for posting these pictures!
I love the pictures [bow] … and I’d love to see someone riding that bike![(-D] There’s always at least one more thing you’ve never seen.
