What a find I had last week. I traded some Hot Wheels for back issues of Trains magazines and got them for 25 cents each issue. I’m like a kid again. I get to pour through 50 issues of Trains magazines that I never got to buy when new. In the Oct 2003 issue on page 25 is an article on the tornado that blew down the Kinzua Viaduct. Has it been rebuilt or what has happened?
The bridge will not be rebuilt but the viewing area is usually open

No, it won’t be rebuilit…but part of it still stands. The nice thing about it is that it is located within a State Park with plenty of parking and picnicing…and viewing areas. I don’t know if the catwalk was redone for public walking on the remaining half of the bridge, I have not been down there since the yeara before the tornado.

The Harper’s Ferry shot is a bonus.
