Has anyone had experience with Kober Medels? I followed their ad in CTT and their stuff looks neat. They list O, HO & G and I tink I can use their O on my S layout. I need some factories but I need one’s with a small footprint.
Thanks
Jim
I think it is Korber. They appear to be nice material and not too tough to build.
SOme photos of one a fellow built in a few hours can be found in:

S-P,
It’s Korber. Our club has built a couple of their structures.particularly a 6 stall roundhouse. I would classify these kits as definitely craftman level. I looked at their display in York and there is a lot of fla***o clean and with the type of molds they use (poured vs injection molded) you have to deal with some wall warpage (so one has to add stiffening members inside the model to straighten the walls).
Some of their molds are getting a bit tired, so definition of the brickwork can be rough. However, if you are modeling an old industrial area, then bricks don’t always look so good anyway.
They make some neat building styles that can add some nice variety to your layout.
Regards,
Roy
Right KORBER! I’ll read and get more input, but I think I may try one and see if it’s good then more possibly. More opinions PLEASE!
Great models at decent prices. I bought a couple of arch bridges from them and they were a dream to build. I am looking forward to buying their big power station building at the next Greenberg Show in NJ.
