That is what I say’s on the can.

Before my trip to the hospital I think I made mention of the new Krylon H/2/O Latex paint. In rattle cans.
There wasn’t much of a selection of colors the last time I checked three months ago, but I’m sure more colors will be available in the future as the H/2/O paint gets more exposure to the Hobby and Craft people.

Cleaning up with soap and warm water is another plus for this paint.
I used the paint on different materials and find it covers well and dry to touch in 15 minutes and completely in 1 hour.
Paint can be washed off with plain soap and water for up to 15 minutes.
The paint I used dried to a nice mat finish.
The paint works fine on the blue foam that I have carved and cut.

I don’t know when I will get back working on models, but will post any further information I find later.

I wonder what the long term exposure of these new paints will be like? Fading, bleaching and streaking issues, guess time will tell weather we’ll see any unintentional “weathering” as a result of using them outdoors…

Of course If thier water based, could it be possible to intentionally cause some weathering effects? Sounds like some trail and error will be required to get best results…

Thanks for the info on the paint, and yes there are a lot of colors avilable at K-Mart they were having a special on it for taggers only .

I found some of that paint at my local Home Depot, but in only about 4 different colos. I purchased some blue to paint the white plastic parts of a Walthers Cornerstone HO-scale Santa Fe Depot kit. After allowing the paint to dry for 2 days before beginning assembly, I still had a problem with the paint being dissolved and smearing when using Testors Plastic Cement in the brush-cap bottle. If it can be dissolved by glue when assembling a model, I doubt if it can withstand much exposure to the elements when used outdoors.
