Just finished reading Ed’s story, Read the Rule" in the March 2007 TRAINS!

Ed, that is one FANTASTIC story!! I was riveted, and couldn’t stop until I finished. (That doesn’t always happen with me.) Sure do hope you contribute more stories like that one!!!

…We’ll look forward to Ed’s article…I’m sure it’s different and a good one.

Ed,

I dont subscribe to the mag anymore but since a Texas boy has an article in it I will buy one and chk it out ! Danny

I know, I probably won’t get mine for another week or so.

Besides, I’m still reading the January issues. [:O]

Ed, does your place of employment give time off for personal appearances? Can you tell us which Barnes & Nobles you’ll be signing copies of Trains magazine?[;)][:-^][:D]

My March issue of Trains hasn’t arrived yet, but when it does, Ed’s story will be the first thing I read. I can’t wait to read it!!

Bergie, you have the contacts there- I want my March issue post-haste![:o)]

Awh shucks, folks…[:I]

Locomutt, “Pounding Rocks and Pulling Pins” should be out sometime next year…

No, seriously, I had taken to writing down some of the funnier things that have happened to me over the last ten years out at the railroad…and Trains seemed the best place to send some of the stories.

Our own Kathi Kube wanted that one, and I have never been one to refuse a pretty lady anything, so…

Trust me, a lot of language editing was needed before anything could be printed!

Glad you guys enjoyed it, hope to be able to tell you some more.

Ed

I am a very patient person. Can you have a first draft book to me by Friday?

Uh oh…ummm, who has the tin boots this week?[:D]

The last I saw them was when I handed them back to you. Check your cloak closet. [(-D]

So, you’re saying “Skinny” wasn’t really what the old head was calling you?

I’m sitting here, trying to be patient as I wait for the March Trains to show up. Didn’t you give Kathi K. your list of relatives and friends to get advance copies?[banghead]

And am I supposed to heap praise before I read the article? What if you have the facts all wrong?[}:)][}:)]
