I was looking for CSX weathered engines when I found this site http://www.lancemindheim.com/the_model_railroad.htm it shows his new layout, as well as his East Rail shelf layout.
i go on lances site all the time looking for updates. he is a very talented modeler and i look forward to any article he does. also mike confalone is also an excellent modeler. i wish i had their skills.
dido!
I just get a kick out of his work—another of my favorites.
lance’s east rail layout is an inspiration to anyone working on a small shelf layout… can’t wait to see the downtown spur layout progress
What does she have to do with this?
Or did you mean “ditto?”
Jeeeez, Midnight - you seem pretty clued up for an old fella on the current British music scene[?]

Oh, now I remember this guy - he had an article in a recent issue of Model Railroader during the last half of 2008, I believe.
I was taken with the crisp attention to detail that seemed to be, just perfect - not cluttered and not in anyway over done.
I’ve book marked this site for further inspiration.

Yeah I meant ditto. He creates beautiful city type scenes!

Hey, I’m hip to what The Kids are listening to, although I prefer classic rock.
Seriously, Lance does excellent work. I find his current project to be a lot more interesting than the Monon layout.

Obviousely NOT if you think they’re listening to Dido![(-D]
I’ve never heard of this Lance guy. Any links to his other work??
Yeah, he has a Custom layout building service http://www.shelflayouts.com/
his east rail layout is in the 2008 Great Model Railroads issue… worth a look
I totally agree with you alcorsd15dan, they are both excellent and they have inspired me to be a better modeller. lance and mike both have proved that you don’t need to have a large garage or basment empire to be in MR/MRP/GMR magazines. which is also inspiring.
