Buy back the Milwaukee and rebuild.
BNSF already owns the former Milwaukee line that parallels this one. I don’t know if they are detouring any of the coal trains on it. Coal trains could also be routed via Lincoln, NE.
Should read “Northern Pacific” not North Pacific. Hard to believe the NP is such ancient history that the name isn’t commonly known anymore.
if they bought bake the milwakee railroad it would be millions of dollars vs. a couple thousand to remove the land slide and its too bad that no one knows about the np any more
