Is crushed rock still being shipped out of Lane Quarry? I use to travel Rt 20 right along side the CSX mainline and I remember quite often a few years ago seeing strings of hopper cars painted orange with the Conrail logo on them. From the road, the hoppers looked new or newly painted at the time. There is a parking area between the road and river I could stop at but never had the nerve to cross the road and climb up the embankment for a closer look. Just womdering.
