Anyone know anything about this show? Anyone going?

Thanks!

This is all I know:

I’ve never been but I am considering.

It’s a big show, they are figuring about 500 tables this year. There will be quite a few layouts there in many scales.I was supposed to bring my Z but they had an email problem and got back to to me too late for me to go with the layout.

I’m still going but as a buyer ,but next year I will have my Z layout there for the duration.

Aside from all that I highly reccomend the show.

I went to this show- I thought it was a big waste of time.

I’ve never been to the show in East Lansing so I thought I’d try to make it. I was less than impressed with what I found. I’m not a Lionel, American Flyer, Tyco or LifeLike collector so I didn’t find much of anything. What I did find was more expensive (plus it was used) than buying it via ebay or direct from a manufacturer ( which is usually guaranteed if something breaks). I was looking for an Auxillary tender for my J 611- I found one of those but it was 50 bucks (can get one on ebay for 30) and the guy wouldn’t go down any on his price. I guess he didn’t want to shorten his inventory any.

I didn’t come home empty handed thou- I did find a Mascot pin vise drill (then the lady charged me tax on it- go figure) that I had been looking for.

What I found at the show combined with how far I had to drive I’ve determined that if a show isn’t an hour away or less then it’s not worth going to. I thought that the show was a huge dissapointment.
