I’m trying again to find out if anyone can give any information on this train.
It appears to me to be a carnival ride. The small building is a ticket booth. It was probably set up in a city park or fairground.
The building to the right of the loco in first photo could be a roundhouse for a real railroad, maybe SLSF? The area in the photos looks like some sort of park. This is a longshot, but it seems to me that I read Frisco had a park near the engine facilities in Springfield MO and I think I have seen some other photos that confirm this. But I wasn’t alive then or if I was, just an infant.
Again, just a longshot guess.
