Las Vegas Hobby Visions coverage

The page I initially set up for new product coverage of the Hobby Visions show ended up corrupting. I’ve now made three (with a possible forth to come) different pages of new product coverage. Click the link below to see part one, and then follow the links at the bottom of each show coverage page to link to the subsequent parts.

The link on the MR.com home page is now also fixed and will take you to part one. Unfortunately, the link that was in our October 9 e-mail newsletter went to the originaly page and thus won’t work. Sorry for any inconvenience.

As usual there is some interesting new stuff coming our way (an N scale Shay?). Here is hoping the folks at IHC finally get around to making their paint schemes more accurate. Thus far their efforts at coming even close to actual C&NW painting and lettering are sub-par, even thought they are miles ahead of the rather pathetic job MRC did on their DCC-ready F unit, which I think has the worst CNW paint scheme ever seen. Grrr.
Also on my wish list – wi***he good folks at NorScot would now and again come out with vintage Cat equipment. By the way if you are into such stuff, don’t ignore the really large scale stuff NorScot has – some of it really desk top material.

People are looking for pics of Atlas’s N scale Shay. My understanding was that it was shown at the show. If you have a pic of it, people would love to see it. There is still nothing at the Atlas web site concerning it.

At the HobbyVisions Show, Atlas showed a brass model as an illustrative sample of what they are planning for their N scale 2-truck Shay.
