I thought Afghanistan also had no railroads.
THe reason they don’t have one is because all the metal is use for homemade bombs. [:-^]

Most or the railroads shown on the map were never built. The Kabul Tramway shown did exist. The link to photos:

The link below is to an oil terminal in Afghanistan which is served by the Uzbek (A former Republic of the Soviet Union) Railway. I believe it is the only current railroad operation in the country.
