Last EMD G12s in passenger service in Argentina
The majority of the 52 G12s (with A1A-A1Atrucks) delivered to the 3’6" gauge Taiwan Railway between 1960 and 1966 are still in service. They are primarily used for freight but still work some passenger services. My favorites!

Are the EMD GS 12 based on the USArmy MRS I Korean Era
Korean National Railway had some G-12s that were used in freight and passenger service. I was stationed there in 1970 (courtesy of the Army) and saw them occasionally around Seoul. Does anyone know if they are still running?
Does anyone remember the G-8’s on the old Newfoundland railway? That was 3’6" as well. They’d take standard guage cars off the “boat” and put 3’6" trucks on for the trip to St.Johns. As well, they’re passenger train “the newfie bullet”.
