Last Nights Turner Classic Movie

Did anyone here on the forum happen to catch last night’s(Tue) Turner classic movie about the kids riding trains during the depression across the country to find work? What was the name of the movie ?I caught about the last 30 mins of it …Thot it was great ,had a lot of steam RRing in it…AT&SF and SP

The show was Wild Boys of the Road directed by William Wellman in 1933. See this IMDB link for more details. The character of Sally was played by the director’s wife, Dorothy Coonan Wellman.

The 1980’s movie The Adventures of Natty Gann sounds similar to this.

I watched it and recognized Ward Bond as the bad brakeman. Thanks for the IMBD link. I do not remember seeing Alan Hale Jr. (The Skipper on Gilligan’s Island) I didn’t tape the show.

Unfortunately, it’s not availble on DVD, according to the TCM website.
