Later Greenbergs Repair/Operating 45-69 Manuals more complete?
I’ve got an older Greenberg’s from mid 80s and there’s a few engines not included - nothing major and I can usually find equivalent info. But would one of the newer editions be any more complete? Or are the newer editions pretty much the same content?
Copy I have was published in 1990, 6th edition, second printing and has 736 pages. What engine(s) are missing? Some of the items in the manual are cross referenced and you may need to find the “original” issue to get parts and/or eploded diagrams.
I don’t believe that Lionel did a diagram for the 2353. The 7th Ed. of the repair manual cites the diagram for the 2333 as a sub for the 2353. I also checked the big book, Greenberg’s four-volume Lionel Service Manual. While it did have a listing for the 2353, it was a parts list, not a diagram.
