Layin Track!!!

I got my mainline laid today. Not that yall really give a snot.

Looks good.

Looks like the cookie cutter method works well for you.

Hey, how big is that whole thing? It looks pretty good size.

looks good what kind of grades you got on there

It’s 8.5’X9.5’ with an 8.4% grade coming up out of the inner loop.

Hey, we do give a snot if its about trains. By the way I like it very much, I think its great that you have mainline in and can run your trains around now. I like to see people in the hobby.

Is it just the picture or is there an abrupt vertical transition in the first picture? If your locos and rolling stock make it…

How many cars have you pulled up that 8.5% grade with your Shay? Have you tested it?

Oh yeah, it’s snot about what we think about it.

It’ll pull six log cars up it. Might do more, but that’s all I have. No, that’s an illusion. There is a turnout just before the “dip” that runs down in the inner loop and makes it look like a dip right there.

nice!!!

See if this makes it clearer.:

Cool.

Looks good, hopefully I’ll get more track laid soon myself. Keep sending the pictures.

John

8.5 huh?

Guess thats where the bigger scales have the real advantage. I’m in N scale and the only thing I could do with that is slide down it while completely out of control.

Really, it looks great! We want more pics as things progress.

That is beautiful, absolutely beautiful. And I was content with my work…[:)]

Looks like you changed the plan a bit since I saw it last. You have a plan posted somewhere?

Sure. Here you go. I had to flip it horozontally, because of the closet on the right lower corner. I also made a coutinuous loop on the inside, with a wye. Thanks for the kind words, fellers. They were a little more than I expected.

Okay, I did see that one.

Keep the pictures coming.

keep up the good work!!! That is a monsterious grade[:D] Tim

I bet the N scale Atlas Shay would surprise you.

Looks good Rob

Rob, what kind of attitude is that? [:D]
Of course we give a snot as we’re all in the same gondola here!

Lookin good though!

Until last weekend, it was 6 months before I was able to work on my layout.
I finally laid the roadbed, switch & track for my passenger station.

I hope to work on it some more this weekend.
Only time will tell.
