I have designed a layout and would love to have comments on it EXCEPT that I am not sure how to post a bmp version of the design. Can anyone help?
Thanks.

Is it fair to say that I will have to upload the image somewhere else and provide a link?
Register for an account at one of the free photo storage sites, i.e. Photobucket.com. Upload pictures from your computer to your account.
Once you have the picture uploaded, go to the picture you want to post and hover your cursor over the thumbnail, and a drop down menu will appear.
Click on the “IMG code” selection and you’ll see “Copied” appear.
Open your thread, make your comments, then place your cursor where you want your picture to appear.
Right click, select “Paste”, and you’re done.
The HTML code for your picture will be pasted. When you look at it, it won’t make much sense to you, but when you post your thread, a thumbnail of the picture will be in it. Under the picture will be a statement saying that the image has been resized, but when you click on it, depending on your browser settings, it will open the full size image, either in the same window or a new window.
Gotcha
But before you upload your image to photobucket, open the bmp file in e.g. MS paint on your computer, and do a “save as” to save it in jpg format - which for all practical purposes is the standard image format for pictures on the net.
Then upload the jpg image file.

I made it so. thanks for the advice.
