Layout grid size

In the publication “The Model Railroader’s Guide to Freight Yards”, on page 49 there is a partial drawing of Keith Jordan’s HO ATSF (San Diago yard) layout.

Where can I find a full layout plan ?

Is the grid size as shown = to 24” x 24” or 12" x 12" ???
