Ben,
Good start. I wish you luck with your project. Keep us informed. It’s fun to watch others work!
My layout is on my website. Link is in my signature.
Again, good luck!

nice layouts every one.

mine will have 2 main lines a yard and a 120ft turntable and a 10 stall roundhouse.
i’ll tweak it as it goes…

Ben

Nice looking start! Check the link in my sig. for pics of my layout.

[%-)] Somebody please tell me how to put pics here from my pictures?? thx

Thanks. Main part is roughly 14x22 feet and the yard/terminal extension is 3 x 20 feet… Lot of things break up the nice rectangular space I would like to have but the price was right for the house so compramizes had to be made…

Glad you enjoyed it…

Jeff

Since folks are posting layout images…

Left-hand side of shelf layout–“visible staging” and classification yard

Right-hand side of shelf layout–industrial area and engine servicing facility

Close-in shot of some industries

Closer look at the engine facility

Gee, these photos are starting to get old…although I really haven’t done much else on the layout to justify new shots. I guess I could re-do the backdrops, then I would have an excuse to break out my new digital camera (thanks Mom!) and take some shots…

Hey Jetrock. Love those WP switchers. What brand are they?

The S1 is a Proto 2000, the SW1500 is an Athearn and actually lettered for Sacramento Northern, as are both 44 tonners. SN was owned by WP and borrowed a lot of WP motive power during busy seasons–the S1 is #504, which the SN bought from WP shortly after the period I am modeling. The SW1500 isn’t strictly prototypical (the SN never owned any, and it is numbered 405, which was the number WP 504 ran under) but it was a good deal and I’m just not that much of a stickler for prototype…

Seeing as you’ve put th einvite out to show pics - here’s mine. The layout is 4 1/2’ X 6 1/2’ on two levels. Top right hand corner of the high level there is now a half finished Parish Church in this space.

I was thinking about James’ (Student of the Big Blue Sky) comment about your layout being N scale. If it was, you’d have some pretty little windows in your house. [:D]

Looking Good! Like the chair too, got character! Keep us posted
