As the 9:15 rolls by, passengers are treated to a spectacular view of the harbor:
Great shots! Thanks for sharing. Did that guy fall out of the boat or is it just warm enough for a refreshing swim? [:)]
wonderful detail, love your layout . How long have you spent building your layout?
Thanks again. Great panoramict shot.
Seems like everytime you post someone discovers you for the first time. And some of us just enjoy you again.
Any chance you are going to follow Selios and add a new section??
Great Pictures!
Perry,
Bob knows how much I love those Pullman cars with clerestory roof. I have a few that need detailing and close coupling.
There is a bit of a drama unfolding on the harbour. The girl hanging on to the side of the boat cannot get back in. A guy is swimming over to help. He is now approaching the port bow. Another guy is coming to her assistance in his boat. The guy on top of the cliff with his girl walking the dog feels a little useless, but he can see help is close to arriving. The guy on the back platform of the train is unaware of the drama and happily waving to all and sundry. The dude on the signal box landing can’t see the drama unfolding in the water because it is under the cliff face, and wonders what the fuss is about. In any case he has work to do reporting the 9:15 passing his location.
It was only when I enlarged the photos to unravel what is going on that I noticed the oysters growing on the piles under the bridges. Bob thinks of everything!! It is really horn the way he has cast the swimmer into the water. We can see him below the surface and see the water disturbed behind him as he motors over to help the damsel in distress.[^]
Art, I think the reason that there seem to be someone ‘‘discovering’’ Bob’s pics is due to the fact that there seem to be a lot of newcomers on the forums. Welcome aboard, and as always Great Pics there Bob, Keep them comming. Mike
John:
You’ve done a great job reading my mind. That’s exactly the scene i set out to do. To make the rescue swimmer look like he’s in the water, I had to cut the figure in half before placing him into the pre-cured resin (water). I’m glad you enjoyed the pic.
Bob,
I am glad to see that I got something right.
For those who want to see this a little more clearly, what I did was
- open the picture by clicking on it,
- Then use the option “Save As” to save to desk top.
- From the desk top select preview then zoom into the photo.
When I zoomed in I saw the person hanging on the side of the boat had long hair. Then the plot became reasonably clear.
Hope this helps. There is so much detail in Bob’s photos I like to zoom in on them.
Very nice Bob. Tks. for the pics.
